Childcare
The Community Employment Resource Centre (CERC), funded by MTCU as part of Employment Ontario, offers local residents FREE job search assistance through the use of equipment, resources and various services. By teaming with the Ontario Early Years Centre (OEYC), funded by Province of Ontario located at Lakeland Place, Port Hope jobseekers will be able to take advantage of 1 hour FREE child supervision in order to focus on their job search. Parents can leave their children at the OEYC during a pre-designated time block and then, at the back of Lakeland Place, make use of the CERC services.
Registration will be required as well as a first-come first-served sign-up for any of the pre-designated time slots.
